Located on the largest blind and visually impaired campus in Daytona Beach Florida, the Center for the Visually Impaired is the community's eye resource center. This unique non-profit has provided for over 20 years comprehensive adjustment, training and support services to blind and visually impaired individuals. The Center offers Independant Living Classes for seniors, Teen Transition & Young Adult Programs, Orientation & Mobility classes in your community, Social Club, Music & Art Clubs, Adjustment to Vision Loss support groups, the latest in visual aides, magnifiers and a state of the art computer program. The Centers staff is 30% blind or visually impaired, and offers classes in a warm and supportive atmosphere in the education center. The CVI Bus will even come to your door and pick you up for classes once a week.
