This group is dedicated to providing valuable information for the small business owner. We meet monthly and feature a speaker that deals with the issues that we face as business owners. You are encouraged to network during these events.

Meetings are held at the Ormond Beach Recreation Center - Bldg. B 351 on Andrews St on Tuesday evenings from 8:00 to 10:00 pm.

I am on the Home Store committee and volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. It is a worthwhile organization that teaches responsibilty as well as helps others.

Meetings are the first Friday of every month in the Children's Auditorium at City Island Library in Daytona Beach at 10:00am. All pregnant and breastfeeding moms and kids are welcome.

It may be helpful to briefly describe what Halifax Urban Ministries (HUM) is all about. HUM is a non-profit (501c (3)) organization whose prime mission is to prevent homelessness by providing at risk families with food and emergency assistance to help keep them in their homes and off area streets. Last year, we provided over 160,000 food packages to needy/homeless families and served over 150,000 hot meals.
