Museum of Arts and Sciences (MOAS) Logo Contest - The Guild of the Museum of Arts and Sciences (MOAS) is sponsoring a logo design contest for the Halifax Art Festival (HAF). In its 47th year, it is the second oldest art festival in the State of Florida and is the Guild's major fundraiser for the Museum. Logo design may be full color (4/color), but must translate to 1/color for various purposes. Use of screens is acceptable. Must contain type: Halifax Art Festival. Clean and simple is usually best; logo will be used in many sizes. Square or circular shape is preferable (type may extend slightly beyond). Size is not important for submissions. It will be used in all print, signage and electronic media including HAF website. The festival is heavily promoted locally; in national lifestyle magazines; electronically on art-related websites; through MOAS and all cultural/visitor promotion contacts. Due date (no exceptions): April 1, 2009
